Egyptian singer Sherine pulled an oopsie today when she referred to Queen Rania of Jordan, named as such since 1999, as Princess Rania.

And, to make matters worse, did so while at a concert in the Dead Sea in Jordan.

Taking to the TV program ET, Sherine blamed her age for the mix-up. "Listen," she said. "This isn't my fault. I'm getting close to my 40s. Allow me to record a correction to Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan."

Al Bawaba would like to take the opportunity to remind Sherine that, if she is in her 40s, than Rania of Jordan has been queen for half of Sherine's life. And demenia begins settling in during a person's 80's, anyway, on average.
