Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab has been living a very hectic schedule traveling from one Arab country to the next holding concerts and meetings. One of the trips the singer underwent was to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Beirut to choose a new wardrobe for her upcoming music video.
According to the London based Elaph, Shireen will shoot the new clip in Beirut under the supervision of her producer Nasr Mahrous, who is also taking on the responsibility of supervising her upcoming album scheduled for release during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.
As her popularity grows, Shireen is faced with different conspiracies from mysterious individuals, whose main purpose is negatively affect the fame she is achieving. Jealous individuals have taken on a mission to attack the singer in any means possible to ruin the image she has worked for so hard.
The latest attack on the singer was the rumor created during her tour in Canada that said she had walked on stage practically unconscious and only sang for a few minutes ruining the entire performance. Shireen stressed that she had previously agreed with the sponsor of her tour to hold four different performances and had held her part of the agreement and performed her concerts to the highest standards. She added that the rumor created holds no truth to it and that she had arrived a few minutes late, due to certain circumstances.
The singer stressed that if the rumor of her being unconscious at the said concert was true, why did it not occur at the other three. She added that the sponsor is currently trying to clarify the incident and clear her name in order for her to agree to work with him again in the future.
