Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab revealed that she was sad watching the live trial of ousted Egyptian President Husni Mubarak and believes that he should not be put on trial due to his old age and illness.
She does not like to see anyone humiliated in such a manner and does not believe the Egyptian people were pleased to see Mubarak, now over 80-years old, in such a state, said Shireen.
Although, she does think the people in Egypt need to see justice served and the prosecution of those responsible for the lives of hundreds lost during the revolution that overthrew Mubarak.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Shireen said that Mubarak’s sons Jamal and Alaa must be put on trial, and if they committed crimes they must be prosecuted.
