Egyptian singer Shireen Wajdi is currently in England alongside her husband in order to choose a new wardrobe and accessories for her upcoming music video “Lama Shafouni” (When They Saw Me), which she will shoot in Lebanon under the direction of Mirna Abi Khayat Elias. Shireen is also scheduled to hold a grand performance in London at Albert Hall during the month of March.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, the singer will also hold a second performance in Algeria. Wajdi has announced that she does not intend on entering the acting world in the meantime unless she is offered a very attractive role that adds a great deal to her career. The singer revealed that she took part in different works in the acting world in the past, but she had not been offered any good roles recently.
Shireen stressed that she is concentrating on her singing career at the moment and does not want to diverge her efforts elsewhere. The singer is currently working on a new music video for the song “Lama Shafouni” (When They Saw Me), which is sung in the Lebanese accent, under the direction of Mirna Khayat.
