It was a family affair this week as Gigi Hadid showed off the collection she designed with Tommy Hilfiger alongside her siblings, Bella and Anwar.

The TommyNow Drive collection, designed with Gigi, was inspired by racing and with many 1990s influences featured bright primary colors that played well off of each other on the runway.

Gigi — who also has a Hilfiger-clad Barbie doll in her image — opened Sunday night’s show with a pair of blue and black leather racing leggings and a Hilfiger bandeau top, and closed in a long diaphanous layered maxi dress with racing logo prints.

It was the fourth collection that Hadid designed with the Hilfiger team, with the first three showing in Los Angeles, New York and London.

“It is a bit emotional but it is so exciting,” Gigi said backstage. She said she learned with each season how to better execute her ideas, adding, “I feel like this collection is one that I really feel that I learned the most with.”

Hadid closed the show taking one last lap with Hilfiger — who said that while their TommyXGigi collaboration was ending that they would “always be close. We’ll always be family and friends.” And he held out the possibility of another collaboration in the future.

Gigi was joined on the runway by her brother Anwar and sister Bella, both of whom are making a name for themselves in the fashion industry.

All items of the collection were available on the brand’s online shop the moment they went down the runway, with some already on the racks of a temporary shop set up at the venue, an exhibition center dressed up as a Formula 1 circuit.

With fashion brands under pressure to deliver collections faster to their younger customers, companies are finding themselves juggling constant demand for new clothes and accessories and the long manufacturing process required for their products.
