Sex And The City's shoe-obsessed Carrie Bradshaw didn't think twice about forking over thousands for high heeled designer shoes.
But her real-life alter ego Sarah Jessica Parker wants to make sure women worldwide have more affordable and comfortable options.
The actress and shoe designer arrived at Harvey Nichols for the international launch of her SJP shoe collection in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
The 49-year-old was dazzling in a full length golden gown that featured delicate embroidery with a shimmery floral design.
The mother of three posted on her Instagram account a photo of a pair of fuchsia heels.
She captioned: 'JPCollection fuchsia Angelica's begged for me to snap this photo. In lieu of a selfie. They are as excited to see you @harveynicholsdubai in 2.5 hours as I am. X, Sj #SJPinDXB.'
Sarah, who is married to Matthew Broderick, signed her shoes for the women who came out for the event and also made a speech.
The actress launched her first footwear line in February of this year and came out with the second collection for the line in October.
Her shoes were recently awarded the Footwear News Achievement Awards Launch of the Year title.
The prices range from about $200 to $500, well within a Carrie Bradshaw-worthy shoe budget.
In an interview with Fashionista, Sarah said Carrie Bradshaw would not wear her eponymous line of shoes if there were to be a Sex and the City 3.
'They can't [put my shoes in the movie] because I don't exist in Carrie Bradshaw's world,' she said.
'There is no Sarah Jessica Parker in Carrie Bradshaw's world. It's an alternate universe. I think that would be so unethical and so outrageously bizarre, I can't even imagine.'
