"I love India. India is a beautiful country. I promise that I will be back again for you lovely people. You all are amazing," said the star.

The 41-year-old rapper, who is now known as Snoop Lion, delivered a high octane performance for the large crowd gathered at the Leisure Valley Park on Sunday, concluding his first-ever India tour with this gig - the previous one was held in Pune on January 11.

"I love India. India is a beautiful country. I promise that I will be back again for you lovely people. You all are amazing," said the star.

During his over an hour-long performance, the 'What's My Name' hitmaker churned out his popular numbers including 'I Wanna,' 'California Girls,' 'You are my Baby Girl' and many more.

However, the excitement among the crowd reached another level when he rapped to some Indian numbers like 'Subah Hone Na de,' 'Dum Maro Dum' and most of all 'Singh is King', the hit track Snoop featured in along with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for the film of the same name.

On seeing the crowds swaying to the music, Snoop said into his blinged-up Swarovski studded microphone, "That's the sign I was waiting for."

Snoop 'D-o-double-g,' as the rapper repeatedly makes known had earlier tweeted a message in Hindi for his fans who will be attending his shows. His tweet said: "Whos comin to my India shows snap a photo of the tix for RT. app mera show per aaara hai? ticket ka foto nikal aur me RT karunha." (are you coming to my show? take a photo of the ticket and I'll retweet it.)

The rapper also sent out invitations to Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra over twitter for his concerts in Pune and Delhi. Kumar responded: "Snoop, I'd love to come brother but I'm shooting. Please come home for some Indian fried chicken when you come to Mumbai."

Chopra also tweeted back: "Hey Snoop, would've loved to, but I'm in LA finishing my album! I'm sure you'll kill it in India! Next time for sure. Show some desi love people!"

Snoop was welcomed by his fans as well as Bollywood celebs, who joined him for a party. Salim Merchant's tweet read: "Went to a party after very long to welcome Snoop Dogg to India...met him had a chat about working in future. I think Snoop Dog should change his name to Snoop God (reverse of dog)."

Actors Dino Morea, Prateik Babbar, Sophie Choudry and Minissha Lamba were among the other celebs who got an opportunity to hang out with the rapper.

Snoop produced his first studio album Doggystyle in 1992 and after that he became a sensation in America. Currently, he is behind 120 singles and 11 studio albums. He is also scheduled to release his 12th album this year.
