Netflix has announced that Season 2 to their hit supernatural drama Stranger Things, is set to debut on Oct. 27.

The premiere date announcement was accompanied by a short teaser trailer on Twitter that features the show's main cast of adolescent heroes played by Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp and Caleb McLaughlin riding their bikes inside the town of Hawkins, Indiana.

"Some doors can't be closed. #StrangerThings2 arrives on October 27," Netflix captioned the clip.

The first teaser trailer for Season 2 released during Super Bowl LI in February, announced that the series would return to Netflix on Halloween.

"It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived," reads the synopsis for Stranger Things Season 2.
