Spandau Ballet will still perform in Dubai despite their drummer’s injury, organisers say.
The British band are set to perform on September 17 at Dubai World Trade Centre, as part of their Soul Boys of the Western World tour.
The band cancelled three shows in Spain this week when their drummer, John Keeble, fell ill.
“Done Events is proud to present Spandau Ballet in concert September 17th and the reported current illness of a band member has not been discussed with us by either the band or their management,” COO of Done Events, Thomas Ovesen, told tabloid!.
“We wish the band member a speedy recovery and look forward to a great Dubai concert in September.”
