For the past two years we've been busy with hit talents shows Arab Idol and The Voice. But, loyal fans of Star Academy haven't forgotten about its existence.
Fans of the show will be super excited to know that following a two-year absence, Star Academy is coming back for its ninth season.
Peeps, mark September 29 on your calendars!
The show was set to return two weeks ago, but due to the unstable conditions in Egypt, it was postponed till the 29th of the current month. Better late than never!
According to Sayidaty.net, a series of surprises have been set in place to meet the high expectations of fans who are anxiously awaiting the show's return.
Just like we got used to for the past eight seasons, Hilda Khalife will be presenting the show. Our fave music teachers will also be making a comeback, as well as director Tony Qahwaji.
The only major change taking place is the replacement of Head of the Academy, Rola Saed, with writer Claudia Marchelane, who has dedicated five solid months of her time to working on the show.
“Be Link Productions” have signed a contract with the Academy to solely distribute the show in the Middle East and North Africa. Egyptian channel CBC and Lebanese channel LBCI hold exclusive rights to airing the series as well.
