She has been very public in her battle with staying fit over the years.

But now after being a new mom for five months, Khloe Kardashian is taking a bit of a new approach, by easing off on the amount of pressure she puts on herself.

'I’m still active, I still workout, but I’m not like ‘I have to lose 50 pounds in two months or whatever those expectations are,' the reality star confessed to Us Weekly.

'It’s very normal to lose weight at a slow process. For me, that’s how I lost all my weight before and how it stayed off.'

Early on, after giving birth to her daughter True in April, Khloe started to feel a sense of confidence in her body.

Early on, after giving birth to her daughter True in April, Khloe started to feel a sense of confidence in her body.

'It’s so weird. I thought I would possibly be more insecure and I’m really not that insecure … I’m not at my body weight, so I definitely have the areas that I want to improve or this-or-that, but I’m more like, ‘You’re just … I’m bad***,' she shared with Us.

First time mommy: Khloe revealed she was having a baby girl in March; she gave birth to True April 12

It's working: The reality star said she had lost 33 pounds in the three months after giving birth

Slow and steady: 'It’s very normal to lose weight at a slow process. For me, that’s how I lost all my weight before and how it stayed off,' Khloe revealed

The star admitted that, for many years, she tried all the different diet fads that would pop up and as a result her weight would fluctuate.

But now that she's incorporated a more slow and steady approach to fitness and weight loss, she is reaping the results.

In an interview with People, the Body Shaming star revealed she had lost 33 pounds in the first three months after giving birth.

'After I had True, I didn’t put any pressure on myself to lose the baby weight. I just wanted to get back to my regular routine from before I got pregnant, which was working out five to six times a week,' she said in a post on her khloewithak.com app in July.

Mom knows best: Khloe said she felt a sense of confidence in her body shortly after True arrived. 'It’s so weird. I thought I would possibly be more insecure and I’m really not that insecure'

Khloe has worked out with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson for years. He says she has been great at understanding the best ways to get herself and her body into a health place.

'She gets the blueprint. She gets the template. She was with me for years, nonstop, every single day.'

The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star summed up her post-baby body: 'I’m chalking this up to the combination of breastfeeding and being very active during and after my pregnancy.'

She also attributed her weight-loss results to eating more protein, fruits, vegetables, and fewer carbs.

New approach: 'I’m still active, I still workout, but I’m not like I have to lose 50 pounds in two months.
