Renowned Syrian actor Talhat Hamdi has passed away at the age of 74 after a sudden heart attack during his stay in the Jordanian capital of Amman. The actor has been transported back to Syria to be buried in Damascus.
According to the website Sayidaty.net, Talhat’s son said that the death was a shock to them because it was so unexpected since Talhat was not suffering from any health conditions.
Talhat is one of the most renowned Syrian actors of his generation and took part in more than 80 projects for television and the theater.
Among the most noted projects he acted in were “Hamam Al Qayshani”, Nimr Bin Idwan”, “Tarabeesh”, “Ahlam Al Madina” and many more.
