The Egyptian club “In Royal Nile Castle,” located in Cairo, recently held an award ceremony for the stars of the television drama series “Layali.”
The stars of the series, Zainah, Hanan Mitaweh and Yousif Al Sharif were all present at the awarding ceremony that was held on a ship in the Nile.
During the ceremony Zainah responded to rumors that were spreading about the drama series. She said the story idea for the script was created two years ago and that it is unrelated to the late Lebanese artist Suzan Tamim who was murdered last year.
As for her relationship with the young Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny, Zainah said that he is like a brother to her and that she considers him one of her closest friends.
According to the London daily Elaph, Zianah also said that she consults Hosny on every decision that she makes, yet the rumors make her feel as if the two are married.
