Once a comedian always a comedian, even if the flu knocks him down. Perhaps it's the funny jokes he's conceiving in his brain that are keeping Tareq Al Ali smiling, despite his being admitted to the hospital for a severe case of the flu and a high fever.

The Kuwaiti comedian actor had just returned home from Oman where he presented his play "Al Saydah Bi London" when he became ill and was sent to the hospital.

The naughty patient didn't listen to his strict doctor's instructions to max and relax while recovering. According to Laha Magazine, once Tareq was released from the hospital, he insisted on sticking to his prior commitment to present the play in Kuwait since tickets were already sold out, and he did not want to let his fans down. That's one dedicated performer, putting his faithful fans above his own health. He may not have been feeling up to par, but he still sparkled those those pearly whites and kept the audience in roarous laughter.

His Mrs., however, laid down the law and made him go back to the hospital after the show's curtain closed. The insubordinate artist still didn't listen to the doctor when he was told to not let anyone visit. Fellow celebs, Dawoud Hussein, Jamal Al Radhan, Al Shaikh Daeej Al Khalifa Mais Qamar, Ahmad Al Salman, Ahmad Matfi and many others came to visit the star whose health is finally on the up and up.
