Thanks to British pop sensation Jessie J, schoolgirl Esther Eden is now a rising star.
Born in India and raised in Dubai, Esther was 16 when she made headlines after performing for Jessie - who was visiting Esther's school - in 2014.
The talented singer-songwriter's original song and beautiful voice impressed the UK star so much that she asked Esther to join her on stage at RedFestDXB later that night to perform the same song in front of more than 10,000 concertgoers.
Doing better than ever, Esther, now 17, has signed a contract with Universal Music MENA and is currently finalizing her first debut album, representatives said on Monday.
Esther told Gulf News's tabloid! that "although she usually performs down-tempo pop and acoustic music, her debut effort is ‘electro dance.’"
