Self-professed “Sports geek and Nando’s loyalist” Nathan Caton leads the line-up for November’s Laughter Factory tour.
Caton first tried his hand at comedy as a teenager, quickly heading to the Edinburgh Festival and picking up awards including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year trophy.
Praised by The Guardian newspaper for his “laidback, on-the-nose material”, the Londoner has appeared in his own Comedy Central show as well as Russell Howard’s Good News and Mock the Week.
Scotsman Jimmy McGhie is also on the bill. The comic has completed four Edinburgh Festival shows, and this year has also toured Australia.
A co-presenter of The Dave Gorman Show on Absolute Radio, McGhie has supported the likes of Chris Addison and Simon Bird, and has been “tipped for greatness” by The Telegraph newspaper.
Last but not least in the line-up is British-based Canadian stand-up Glenn Wool, who boasts an extensive international touring CV.
As well as popping up everywhere from Glastonbury to the WTF with Mark Maron podcast, Wool has appeared on TV programmes including Never Mind the Buzzcocks and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show.
Catch the trio of funnymen as they play four Dubai dates, beginning this Thursday.
