After months of anticipation, the winner of The X Factor Arabia has been revealed.
Although millions were rooting for the Arab world's hottest up-and-coming boy band "The Five" to win, Saudi Arabia’s Hamza Hawsawi took the winning title home on Saturday night.
Having outdone himself with each new song throughout the evening, celebrity judge Elissa sang his praises saying, “You’re our ambassador to the world.”
While we're sure Hamza won the talent contest fair and square, "Fivers" might be a bit more skeptical.
Earlier in the week, The Five's fans urged X Factor judge Donia Samir Ghanem to do something about the band's voting lines, which they said were impossible to reach.
However, StepFEED spoke to Adel Echibi, the Moroccan member of The 5, following the finale, and he was supportive of his fellow contestant's win.
“I wish him all the best because he deserves it.
“He’s really talented and he’s very gifted. I was so proud to be in competition with him,” Adel said.
But what could ever be next for the ambitious boys? While we predict a bright future for the boys in showbiz, Adel said, “We don’t know. We are still waiting for the answer from the Sony Production. So maybe we will have something.”
And what about Hamza? Will we see him sing in Arabic for the first time if he releases an album, or will the singer stick to singing in English?
Either way, congrats to the charming, much-talented Hamza.
