Eid Al Adha is nearly upon us, and Dubai is celebrating in style once again. The citywide festivities will be topped by three days of fantastic fireworks. Find our top tips on how to make the most of them:

This year, the Eid fireworks are taking place at four waterfront locations across the city: Dubai Festival City, Al Seef, La Mer, and further along the coast at The Beach.

The Dubai Festival City fireworks will take place on 22 and 23 August, with two showings each day: 9pm for early birds and 10:30pm for night owls (if you’re feeling extra festive, stay for both). Book your favourite waterside restaurant on the district’s stunning Festival Bay promenade to enjoy the sound and music from the best possible vantage point.

One of Dubai’s newer waterfront destinations, Bur Dubai’s creekside leisure zone Al Seef, will blast fireworks at 9pm each night from 21-23 August. This is a great vantage point to enjoy the skyline of Old Dubai, and soak up the ambience provided by the nearby Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.

Over in Jumeirah 1, casual coastal district La Mer will illuminate the night sky with daily shows at 9:30pm, also from 21-23 August. With trendy dining options galore and plenty of activities to keep kids occupied before and after the show, this is a great choice for families.

Ever-popular JBR hangout The Beach will wow little kids and big kids alike with a spectacular display at 9:15pm daily for the three nights of 21-23 August. Grab a table at one of the many restaurants - we recommend heading indoors, but upstairs, to avoid the humidity but gain the best views.

Make sure you download the ‘SunSational Summer’ app. This handy tool serves up discounts and offers while you’re enjoying the Eid entertainment at the above locations, as well as at Boxpark, City Walk and The Outlet Village.

Wherever the mood takes you, be sure to turn your eyes to the skies this Eid Al Adha for a truly memorable display.
