Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi was previously scheduled to hold a live performance at the Royal Albert Hall in England at a charity event sponsored by the British Hope Foundation, but the event ended without the attendance of Nawal. The organizer of the event did not give any justification for Nawal’s mysterious absence and was unable to ease the anger of the audience, which came from all around Europe to watch Nawal sing.

According to the London based Elaph, it was revealed in a personal interview to Nawal’s managing office, that while the singer was in Jordan she was scheduled to travel to London directly along with her band, but upon arriving at Queen Alia Airport in Jordan, Nawal was in shock to learn that no reservations were made for her or her band by the organizing committee. At this point the singer requested that the airline company find reservations for her to fly business class since first class was fully book, and in order to make it on time to hold her concert in England, but was surprised when she was denied her request due to the fact that the entire flight to England was fully booked and there was no way to alter the situation.

Nawal has not received any form of an apology from the committee of the charity event clarifying why they had neglected to make reservations for her in order to attend. The singer revealed that she wanted to justify her position to her audience and regrets being unable to hold her performance and assures that she is not the reason behind her absence and would not intentionally miss out in taking part in a charity event. It was revealed that a number of international singers were also absent from the event like Sting, Lisa Scot and many others for unclear reasons as well.

Nawal was to head off to England to hold a grand performance at the Royal Albert Hall alongside internationally well-known singers like Sarah Brightman. Nawal had intended on performing a number of her old songs along with her most recent and was hopeful that the experience would mark a turning point in her career. The singer added that she is placing the final touches on her upcoming album, which is due to be released this November.

Recently, Nawal made it a point to publicly appear with her Husband Elli Deeb on every occasion possible to prove rumors of an existing marriage dispute wrong. The singer wants to tell the world that all the lies about her and her husband are not true and they are in no way heading for a divorce.

It was rumored that family disputes had exploded between Nawal and her husband over his new commitment to the career of Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. Nawal had become furious with her husband over his insistence on supporting the career of Nancy and has in turn threatened to quit her career as a singer and immigrate to Canada with her children.

In a personal interview with Nawal's business manager, her husband Elli, he assured that none of the rumors hold any truth to them and that he and his wife are on excellent terms. Elli noted that these kinds of rumors keep haunting his wife before every release and they are just a failed attempt to bring her down. Elli stressed that he has not taken on the responsibility of supporting any new singer and that his dedication is for his wife alone. It was also revealed that once Nawal is complete with work on her new album she will venture on choosing a song to film in the form of a video clip to release.

Al Zoughbi had decided to put off the release of her upcoming album and any new music video until November, due to the fact that so many new albums have been released this summer season and she simply wanted more emphasis to be placed on her album.

Nawal revealed that her new album features ten songs sung in the Lebanese, Egyptian and Khaliji (Gulf) style. The singer has gone back to the classical genre mixing in a touch of traditional Lebanese Tarab. Nawal plans on shooting three songs in the form of a music video in which two are to be filmed in Turkey under the direction of Said Marouq, and the third song, which tells a drama story, under the direction of Salim Turk. –Albawaba.com
