Tunisian singer Latifa returned to Cairo to meet with writers and composers for her new album after spending the eid vacation with her family in Tunisia.
I have appointments with a number of poets and composers to discuss new songs for my upcoming album, Latifa said. She said she is hunting for songs that would cause controversy like her previous album.
Choosing songs is not easy at all, said Latifa, adding that she may listen to dozens of songs, but it's possible none of them will move or provoke her as a singer. "I take a long time to find what satisfies me, and my choices are not easy," she said.
Latifa also said she misses acting and hopes to return soon.
