Famous Turkish folk singer Namık Uğurlu, known as Ankaralı Namık, fell to his death from his seventh-floor balcony on Sunday night.
Uğurlu was immediately taken to the Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital but doctors were unable to save him.
Police are still investigating the incident, as it is unclear whether the singer committed suicide or accidentally fell after he reportedly went out to get some fresh air around 9:30PM Ankara local time, reported Today's Zaman.
The artist was a young 38-years-old and was injured in a car accident in September.
