World-traveler Tyrese Gibson is no stranger to the Middle East.
The American Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, actor and model has been to this side of the world on several occasions, and even filmed "The Fast & Furious 7" in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
However, the tall, dark and handsome star has added a new destination to his ME map.
Tyrese, as usual, documented his entire trip - from start to finish - on social media. He was so excited about this trip that he even composed a song for the occasion!
Dream destination
On Saturday, 30 May, Tyrese - dressed in a traditional Qatari thoab and headpiece - made his first ever visit to the luxurious Qatari capital, Doha.
Although Tyrese was in town for his "first real vacation in the past seven years," he couldn't help but make it a social and educational trip as well.
Before flying out to Doha, Tyrese posted an Instagram post supporting Qatar's Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser's efforts towards a better education and increased equal rights for women.
"There's a real passion for equal rights and education and one of the most powerful women behind this movement is Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Chairperson Qatar Foundation - aka @mozabintnasser - I'm in Qatar I hope to meet and exchange ideas about education there's so much more we can do if and when we align our powers," he wrote.
Tyrese, in my opinion, is an enlightened, inspirational and kind human being, who should serve as a role model for politicians, fellow celebrities and people of the world.
High-flier
Tyrese didn't fly solo... "Travel Teddy" and his friend American director Brad Furman flew First Class with the Hollywood hottie, which meant they could stretch their legs for the entire 16-hour flight without being disturbed.
Astonishing accommodation
If you think the last five star hotel you stayed at was fabulous, wait till you've seen Tyrese's fairytale suite at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel.
But we all know how humble Tyrese is, and this adorable video featuring his hotel butler proves it.
Let the adventure begin
Tyrese's trip kicked off with a private beach dinner with some of his Qatari friends.
Next it was all about hanging out at the spa (who doesn't need a massage or two?) and having some fun, before soft launching Sky Dive Qatar with Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad on Tuesday.
And the royal hangouts continued...
Then it was back to business...
Visiting the Education Foundation campus for the second time around.
When in Qatar
And of course there's always time to visit the US troops
Spiritual journey
The Christian artist constantly counts his blessings, and although he's a follower of Jesus, he decided to visit the Museum of Islamic Art and even pray at the State Grand Mosque, which marked his first ever visit to a mosque.
The Last Supper
Tyrese said goodbye to his Qatari friends at a beautiful intimate dinner, where he said goodbye to what he described as a "life-changing trip."
