Oasis announces 2025 reunion on social media

ALBAWABA - English band Oasis made headlines after announcing a reunion in 2025, 16 years after the band split up due to a backstage hiccup at a Paris festival between the two members Liam and Noel Gallagher, according to The Guardian.

Take in mind, that Oasis will not be making new music but playing their previous songs on a 14-day tour of the UK and Ireland in 2025. Rumors circulated that they would be attending the Pilton and Somerset's Glastonbury Festival but that was not the case.

Oasis is best known for songs like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back, Stop Crying Your Heart Out and many more. Both went their separate ways with Liam Gallagher recently releasing a brilliant album with English musician and songwriter John Squire.

Our favorite songs from the album in question included Raise Your Hands, Just Another Rainbow, and Mars to Liverpool.

The English band took to their official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and posted:

"The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

Below you can find the schedule which will run from Jul. 4 to Aug. 17, 2025, across different stadiums located in England and Ireland.

In a joint statement made by the brothers, they said "There has been no great revelatory moment that has ignited the reunion – just the gradual realization that the time is right," according to The Guardian.
