Studio 303 is westernizing to become a not-so familiar image to studios in the Arab Region. In an attempt to mimic western productions, Studio 303 in Egypt’s Media Production City unrivaled anywhere in the region, becomes the first to start shooting a sitcom (situational comedy) to be held in an indoor studio. Like most western sitcom, outdoor productions are rare.
Director Muhsin Fikri and screenwriter Fida’s Al-Shundweel have already started the shooting of the sitcom, Didi & Dulily. A 30-day episode series, the story focuses on the lives of two women trying to live an independent life from their husbands. Also staring two actresses that have never met together on a stage before; Hala Sadki and Ma’ali Zayed.
