ALBAWABA - Popular American rapper Cardi B recently shocked fans after a video captured her wearing a hijab while running on a treadmill during her latest visit to Saudi Arabia.
Cardi visited Saudi Arabia to perform at the 2025 Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, among other top artists such as Swedish House Mafia, DJ Snake, Tyla, Post Malone, Halsey and many more.
The American rapper appeared in the video running on a treadmill and cycling on an upright gym bike. She shouted at the start, "Assalamualaikum" and "Wa alaikum assalam!" A greeting widely used in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring Arab countries.

In the viral clip, Cardi B also promoted her "Little Miss Drama Tour," which is expected to run through 2026.
She also wore another "modest" outfit inside a mall in Saudi Arabia and shared it on her official Instagram account. Cardi wrote in the post's caption, "Hello Saudi Arabia …Halal B has arrived."
Both posts garnered millions of likes and approximately 60 million views combined. An Instagram user wrote under the viral treadmill clip, "Y’all hear that breath control while speaking on a treadmill ohhh yea she ready for tour."
Another added, "One thing about Halal B is she knows how to secure the bag."
