ALBAWABA - A video of several Iraqis laughing and cheering over the grave of influencer Om Fahad caused anger across social media platforms as users expressed their opinions of the matter after the video circulated on the internet.
The video in question had several people clapping, cheering and even disrespectfully touching the flowers on Om Fahad's grave causing further anger on social media because it's considered both inhumane and disrespectful to do such acts to a deceased person.
Moreover, it seems the individuals were also mocking Om Fahad and went as far as spitting on it, according to a user on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Several cameras and flashlights were witnessed in the video which meant that whoever was doing the inhumane acts wanted people across the world to see what they've done on social media. As mentioned above, Iraqi and Arab users didn't take kindly to the video and voiced their anger through a series of comments on X, here's what they had to say:
"Where is the sanctity of the dead?
We are fed up with you, and we are fed up with your ugly filth and your behavior that has no connection with the Iraqis. You have not maintained sanctity even for the dead. The coming days will be more terrifying in light of this recklessness without any deterrent."
"That's just disrespectful."
"These people are sick in the head."
"Not raised properly by parents."
"Ignorant and dirty people."
The tragic passing of Iraqi influencer Om Fahad

Before her tragic assassination, Iraqi influencer Om Fahad who was also sentenced to six months of prison time last year due to "indecent speech that undermines modesty and public morality" was seen in a beauty salon while she took a video of herself and posted it on her social media accounts.
The arrest happened due to the Iraqi Interior Ministry launching a committee to "combat" influencers that share "obscene and degrading content" including Om Fahad.
