ALBAWABA - A Japanese football fan took the internet by storm after a video captured his hilarious reaction to Japan's heartbreaking last-minute loss to Brazil during the 2026 World Cup in Houston, Texas.

Japan's national football team lost to Brazil 2-1 after Gabriel Martinelli scored in the 96th minute, preventing Japan from qualifying for the next round. In response, the camera panned to a man who was hilariously screaming in agony as surrounding Brazilian fans covered him with their national flag. 

Brazil now awaits the winner of today's match between Norway and Ivory Coast.

The man in question is Japanese streamer "Gamix," who recently took to his official Instagram account with nearly 500,000 followers to hilariously ask fans to stop making fun of him and sharing clips of his viral reaction. He wrote in the video's caption, "Too embarrassed to go back to Japan." By the time of reporting, the video had garnered over 15 million views.

A follower wrote, "bro entering villain era soon." 

Others noticed that the streamer was wearing the Brazil national team's T-shirt under Kamado Tanjiro's popular checkered cloak. 

Another added, "Still in the Brazil jersey, bro."
