A-listers headed to the launch party of designer Kholoud Alkurdi's latest jewelry collection. Amongst the celebs attending was the Guest of Honor Waleed Tawfiq.
With her creations donned by celebrities, this Saudi Arabian jewelry designer has been dubbed by the media as the ‘Jewel of Arabia’ – just another title to add to the list of 2012 accolades.
Waleed spoke of how proud he was to be the man of the hour at the outstanding event, and at how glad he is to be in the “Pearl of the Gulf” Dubai.
“I'm ever so happy to be here and I wish Kholoud even more success in her career. She's been classed as one of the top 30 jewelry designers in the world. I assure you that women play an important role in society and its growth.”
Fans and event-goers hurried to meet Waleed for his autograph and photographs for memory.
The glittering event took place at the luxurious Armani Hotel in Dubai.
