Lebanese singer Walid Tawfiq has decided to move to Cairo temporarily for the preparations of his new movie. The name of the movie was not revealed, due the fact that no name has been given to the film.
The London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, reported that Walid’s intense occupation with the film, led him to make a complete transition for his family and enroll his children in private schools in Cairo until he is finished.
The daily also noted that Walid had recently completed recording two new songs from his upcoming album. The first song “A’An Amar Hubak” (If Your Love Demands) is written by Baha El Din Mohammad and composed by Salah Al Sharnoobi. The second is “Ma Fi Hada” (There is No One Else) composed by Walid himself under the supervision of the Egyptian director Jamil Ghazi.
Walid is to perform a concert during Ramadan at the Moven Pick Hotel in Sharm El Sheik and is also to appear on an already recorded episode of “Sa’a Bi Qurb Al Habib” (An Hour Next to the One I Love) on the Lebanese Satellite station LBC. –Albawaba.com
