Stranger Things was an unexpected surprise.
It arrived to little fanfare last year and blew minds, including ours. The Netflix-original drama concerned a group of friends who, in small-town Indiana in 1983, begin investigating the disappearance of one of their friends. It's a science-fiction horror story with a dash of fantasy, resplendent with 80's tropes and aesthetics.
It starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, and Joe Keery.
Anyway, Netflix dropped the season 2 trailer.
The show returns in October.
