Daredevil Troupe Nitro Circus is set to perform a tribute to the UAE at their show in Zayed Sports City this Friday.
Led by American X Games legend Travers Pastrana, the show will feature all manner of stunts and surprises on dirtbikes, BMX bikes, scooters and even kids’ tricycles.

Fann-À-Porter Art Gallery
Celebrated Emirati artist Fatma Lootah is showcasing her works at Fann-À-Porter Art Gallery from now until December 13.
A combination of portraits and abstract paintings, the ‘Women Scented in Oud’ exhibition coincides with UAE National Day and shows Lootah’s passion for the country in which she was born.

From today until December 4, Mall of the Emirates is marking National Day with fun family festivities.
Expect everything from choreographed dance routines, a colourful marching band, themed giveaways and plenty more.
Etihad Modern Art Gallery
The new exhibition ‘43: A Tribute to the Union of the Emirates’ is now on display at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Modern Art Gallery.
The show, which opened yesterday as part of the gallery’s National Day Carnival with Al Mutaqa Literary Salon, runs until December 30.
It features the works of artists including UAE painters Dr. Najat Makki and Khulood Al Jabri.
The Ajman Palace Hotel
A mega military show is coming to Ajman today for a special National Day ceremony.
The Ajman Palace Hotel is offering Emirati cuisine on its private beach, where guests can also watch the celebration of land, maritime and air forces, with accompanying musical performances from local artists.

Under the theme of ‘My UAE’, local artists will be creating artworks at Dubai Outlet Mall today using only the colours of the national flag.
As well as the live painting exhibition, other National Day entertainment includes ayala dancing, Arabic music, a treasure hunt and extended opening hours (10am to midnight).

Le Méridien, Abu Dhabi
Today sees the start of the ‘Around Le Méridien World in 80 Days’ promotion, beginning with Emirati cuisine for National Day.
The culinary adventure at Le Méridien Abu Dhabi will showcase dishes from around the world, by collaborating with other Le Méridien hotels worldwide.
To add to today’s celebrations, the hotel will also welcome an Arabic calligrapher, a henna painter, an Emirati fashion show, an oud player, a locally influenced art exhibition, a performance of Emirati traditional dance and a falconer.
Each country will be showcased for two days during the promotion, which runs from 7pm to 11pm nightly and costs Dhs190 for adults and Dhs85 for children.
Dubai Marina Yacht Club
Get into the Spirit of the Union with the second annual UAE National Day Boat Parade, organised by Dubai Marina Yacht Club.
From 2pm to 3pm today, the parade in the marina will feature an array of yachts, all decked in colourful patriotic decorations.
The yacht club will also host a free family fun day from midday to 6pm, with games, face painting, a bouncy castle, food and more.
The Dubai Mall
Forty Emirati children will take part in a parade today in The Dubai Mall to mark the UAE’s 43rd National Day.
From 4pm to 8pm, the youngsters will march through the mall’s ground floor reciting the national anthem - while the UAE’s flag colours will be projected onto the waterfall.
Meanwhile, the ‘Watani’ and the ‘Arabian Pearl’ exhibitions will look at the country’s history, and tents will offer traditional hospitality.

Spend a fun family afternoon at Yas Marina, which is celebrating National Day in style.
From 3pm to 6pm today, the marina promenade has camel rides, falcon displays, face painting and sand art decoration.
