Laughter really is the best medicine. So says Dr Mashoor Gulati, aka Sunil Grover, who brings his alter ego and bumbling doc persona to the Bollywood Parks stage for one night only. The latest offering from independent film platform Cinema Akil hits the big screen with a special showing of ‘She Started It’, a documentary from Insiyah Saeed and Nora Poggi that follows the trials, tribulations and successes of five international female entrepreneurs. Not your usual weekend cinematic fare, head down to A4 Space at Alserkal Avenue for a thought-provoking 90 minutes as these tenacious women pitch their business ideas, build teams, take their product to market, fail and start over.

Close your eyes and take a step back in time with a celebration of some of the Arab world’s most popular and enduring musical compositions courtesy of Dubai Music Band.
