Eid Al Adha, the festival of sacrifice, takes place this year in the second week of August. The usual hum and thrum of excitement take over the city, sprinkling cultural entertainment and roaming acts at malls across Dubai. If you have your eyes on the city’s most sparkling celebrations, look no further – this year’s Eid fireworks will take place at Dubai Festival City Mall from 11-12 August.
Set alongside Festival Bay, the record-breaking production Imagine has whipped together a bespoke spectacle to wow crowds of all ages. Flashing fireworks will complement its dazzling choreography of water, laser and music, enhancing Eid festivities with shows at 8pm and 10pm each day.
Arrive early to Dubai Festival City Mall, where you can peruse 350 stores, before grabbing a spot right along the water for a front-row view of the fireworks. Or, book a table at one of the mall’s delicious Bay-side restaurants like Al Fanar to enjoy dinner and a show.
