Hanan Tork, the ballet dancer and actress, with her expressive brown eyes, lustrous dark hair and flawless olive skin, burst onto the scene in 1991, making her mark on the Arab Actresses list and Arab audiences alike, according to Arab-Celebs.com.
Born in (Cairo) on March 7, 1976, Tork was one of three children. After years of intensive study in ballet, she broke into acting in 1991. She co-stars with Nadia el-Gindi and Mahmoud Hemeida in "Raghba Motawahesh."
In 1992, she had a starring role in “El Mohager” for famous director Youssef Shahine. In 1998, she had the lead in Youssef Shahine's film “Al Akhar.”
Success gave Tork a dose of Arab recognition, and, after starring in a number of Egyptian films, she boosted her drawing power in 2000 with the TV series "Opera Aida." That same year, she had a brief but memorable role in the breakthrough film "The Storm."
