Sherien Reda, ex-wife of singer Amr Diab, has said her divorce from Diab did not affect her acting career.
Reda said she left acting to focus on motherhood for a while before returning to acting.
"Diab is an artist who appreciates art and he did not prevent me from acting during our marriage. But I rejected any offers and preferred to be by my daughter's side," she mentioned.
"Nobody asked me to portray my role in the "Al-Shohra" (Fame) series beside Diab," Reda said.
The series recounts Diab's life and he will be be playing himself in it.
