The Arab Idol 3 finale was a night to remember last Saturday, especially with the second highlight of the evening, which was a lively performance by UAE singer Hussain al Jasmi, who performed his smash hit single "Bushret Khair" (Good News) to a hyper audience.

And while everyone in the studio, including three of the judges, shook their hips to the catchy tune, Hassan el Shafei remained seated and decided not to shake his groove thing!

His fellow judges Nancy Ajram, Wael Kfoury and Ahlam were as hyped up by the happy single as anyone else watching at home that evening.

The Egyptian judge was heavily criticised by fans for not interacting with Hussain and everyone else dancing at the studio, since the lyrics to the song were patriotic for Egypt.

However, Hassan wasn't taking the criticism and responded to his critics by saying, "This is the first time I find out that people judge each others' patriotism and love for Egypt based on dancing (to a song)... seriously, you are not worth my time."

Arab Idol 3 concluded on Saturday with Syrian singer Hazem Shareef being crowned as winner of the singing competition.
