Bridge the cultural gap

Hot on the heels of a successful international tour, Dubai based Goonj Productions returns to familiar territory from 6-7 July at arts hub, Alserkal Avenue, with Mian Biwi Aur Wagah - the UAE’s longest-running Urdu language theatre production. The real life story of a Dubai based Indo-Pak couple who narrate their experiences through letters (and scripted by the actors themselves), you’ll be swept up in a torrent of emotion and longing from start to finish. This production is in Urdu.

Arabs are funny….seriously 

A comedy night with a difference, Dubai Opera welcomes the latest hot ticket from the UK circuit on 6 July. Comedy Night, in association with Arts Canteen’s 'Arabs Are Not Funny', will turn the spotlight on four extremely funny UK based comics, featuring Welsh-Egyptian funnyman Omar Hamdi, Prince Abdi, Karim Duval - who is probably the only French comic with an Asian face who speaks Arabic - and award winning Lebanese-British comic Esther Manito. We promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

Immerse yourself in IMG Worlds of Adventure

With Dubai Summer Surprises in full swing, the city’s malls are the place to be for live day to night entertainment and some of the best shopping deals you’ll see all year. If you’re heading to The Dubai Mall this weekend, drop off the kids at the IMG Worlds of Adventure stand for an immersive sensory experience in the Lost Valley Tunnel.
