Karis Bashar entered the social media world in mid-Apri, 2019, with official accounts to communicate with her audience and to showcase her work.

Karis was supposed to participate in the series "Lahthet Samt" (Moment of Silence) alongside Abed Fahd yet late it was said she left the project as the two production companies (Sabah and Ebla) seem to have broken their promises with her.
Karis Bashar came out of her silence and talked about everything that happened to her, and how she was surprised that she was out of the project without her knowledge and issued a statement that said:
It was rumored I withdrew from a project carried out by two big Al Sabbah companies, yet that hides the reality of what happened .. I was contacted by the production company and was told that the duration of shoot for my scenes increased from 25 days to 45 days, which contradicts with an existing agreement based on strict time management, to fulfill all my professional commitments with the said parties and other parties. I sent the production team a voice message asking for coordination, in order to fulfill my obligations, and they are in return responded to my demands and promised me that they would have it sorted it out. Days went by without hearing anything new from them.
Later, I learned by chance from crew members that another actress was hired to perform the role. Art begins with ethics, and any dispute or ambiguity shall ends with an apology so that no hard feelings would occur and such an issue can be resolved by leaving the option for the right holder to apologize or complete the work even without pay .. This is what I was waiting for and did not find. I shall meet you in the series "Masafet Aman" (Safety Distance) and "Salasel Dahab" (Gold Chains)
