Competitors shared the stage with special guest star Khaled on the 5th episode of MTV Lebanon's 'The X Factor Arabia'. The night started out with contestants singing before the judges. While they all showed improvement, Jordanian Adham Al Nabulsi, the last competitor on Wael Kfouri's team, reveleaed the most talent, and Carole Samaha told her colleague that his Adham was as good as five contestants combined.
Superstar judge Carole may be accustomed to being on top, but it was the group from her team, Marrayah, that got the least amount of votes, alongside Emam Karakeebo from Morocco on Elissa's team. She was redeemed only a little by the shining performance of the Egyptian group Young Pharoz, which she praised for the way they sent their message out through art.
Moroccan singer Mohammad Al Refi on Judge Hussien Al Jassmi's team also got the limelight for his Lebanese song by Sabah Fhakri.
When it came down to a song of the contestants’ personal choice, Carole got a full taste of humility as Marrayah got the final cut, and Emam Karakeebo breathed a sigh of relief to be one of the seven candidates left in the competition, even though theirs was considered the worst performance of the night before.
Who do you think should have gotten the cut: Marrayah or Eman Karakeebo? Let us know!
