Jassmi joyful over Rifi's reign over X Factor Arabia

All hail the conquering hero! Hussein Al Jassmi comes in first on X Factor Arabia! Well, ok, Mohammed Al Rifi actually did, but Hussein gets a little glory too. After all, he was the celebrity team leader for his age group of over 25 that guided his path to success. Second-place competitor Ibrahem Abdul-Athem was also in his group, giving him the silver lining too!

How victorious should he rightfully feel? Rumors are running rampant that he bought Mohammed's way past Adham Al-Nabulsi, an expected crowd favorite. The truth of the matter we may never know, but either way Hussein is totally on a high, and the official announcement is that he's the champ.

Hussein believed in Mohammed from the beginning, nicknaming him "The Volcano" because of his unique vocal talent.

"It was clear he had the x factor, as he was unique and special, which we are looking for in the x factor," Hussein said after 10 weeks of tough competition. "Al-Rifi deserved to win the title as he possesses rather unique and diverse arabic singing features, from singing Egyptian to Moroccan...I thank the crowds and voters for standing by him in the different stages, and pronouncing him as a new star in the Arabic world of singing."
