ALBAWABA - Fans of the Turkish series Yalı Çapkını‬⁩ lashed out at actor Cem Söküt and allegedly accused him of harassing Turkish actress Afra Saraçoğlu. 

It is good to note that Yalı Çapkını‬⁩, the drama-romance series, has been renewed for a third season and just began to broadcast on Star TV in Turkey every Friday. 

Yalı Çapkını season 3 is written by H. Zeynep Bonçe, who also penned "The Ambassador's Daughter" and "Ates Kuslari" series. The series will also be directed by Burcu Alptekin, who also managed the two previous seasons.

The main cast of Yalı Çapkını are Afra Saraçoğlu, Mert Ramazan Demir and Çetin Tekindor will continue to play the main characters, however, the new storyline will begin with their separation leaving more space for other joiners.

Turkish actor Cem Söküt decided not to ignore these accusations and responded to claims by fans that he is harassing his Yalı Çapkını‬⁩ co-star Afra Saraçoğlu. 

The actor who plays Sinan in the series said in a statement he posted on Instagram: “Dear press and audience, it is my duty to respond to the allegations and slander that have recently been leveled against me on social media."

He added: "During my artistic career, I have worked with many stars. My relationship with them was professional and respectful. I spoke with Afra about all the allegations and she confirmed to me that they are not true and she doesn't know the reason for them. I would like to say that these allegations are slander and untrue. These ugly actions that target stars can harm the work as a whole."
