ALBAWABA - After 14 years of being away from the Syrian drama, actress Yara Sabri is participating in three series in Ramadan 2026.
Yara Sabri's long-awaited return to television comes as she joins a diverse range of roles, including social dramas, comedies, and political commentary.
She will be performing along with many of Syria's most prominent actors, like Bassam Kousa, Salloum Haddad, Fadi Sbeih, and Andre Skaff.
Yara Sabri makes a strong return in Ramadan with 3 series:
1. "Soryon Aada'a" series (السوريون الأعداء):
In the series "Soryon Aada'a [The Syrians, the Enemies], Yara Sabri portrays "Umm Suleiman," a strong woman with principles within her village.
The series falls under the socio-political drama genre and is adapted from a novel by Syrian writer Fawaz Haddad, published in 2014, with a screenplay by Najib Nassir and Rafi Wahbi.
This series will be aired during Ramadan 2026 on the Arabi Plus application, which is a free of charge app.

2. "Lobby El Gharam" series (لوبي الغرام):
The Syrian star is also participating in the upcoming Ramadan 2026 season in a romantic comedy series called "Lobby El Gharam" series.
She will be acting along with other artists, including Moatasem Al-Nahar, Safaa Sultan, Pamela El-Kik, Jessy Abdo, Fayez Kazak, Ayman Abdel Salam, Georges Jabara, and Tatiana Merheb.
The series will be broadcast on Dubai TV, Dubai Plus app and MTV Lebanon.
3. "Al-Maqaad al Akher" series (المقعد الأخير):
Yara Sabri is currently starring in the series "Al-Maqaad al Akher" [The Last Seat], where she portrays a school principal called Hanaa in a new and compelling social drama.
This series is produced by Kaband Media. The Ramadan series will be shown on the company's official YouTube channel and is likely to consist of 15 episodes.
