Egyptian actress Yusra Al Lawzi has been cast as the leading actress in the film “Al Hind Um El Ajai’b” (India, the Mother of Wonders).

The actress accepted the role after carefully reading the script, which she was very impressed with.

Although the title implies that the movie is about India, it in fact is a black comedy depicting the events that took place in Egypt following the revolution over the past three years.

It also shows the way society changed over this past period and how young people fell victims to religious extremism.

According to Laha Magazine, Yusra said that the purpose behind using “India” in the title is a secret that will only be revealed once the film has been screened.

The film will be directed by Amir Ramsis.
