Egyptian actressYusra returns to the big screen in the film Beautiful Prisoner, directed by Jamal Arafeh and costarring Ahmed Ramzi and Mahmoud Hmaidah.
“Because of this role, I make daily visits to the women’s prison at Alqanater Al Khyriyyeh, to experience their conditions and get familiarized with their lives. This role requires a special performance because it is difficult, complicated and different from my previous roles,” Yusra told the London-based Al Sharq Al Awsat daily.
Yusra said they would start shooting the film after Hmaidah wrapped up his film Bahib Essima (I Love Cinema), and after Sharif Arafah finished filming Iben Ezz (Son of Prestige) along with Alaa Waliyiddin.
“We will soon start shooting the movie Bahibbak Tani (I Love You again), costarrig Yahya Al Fakhrani and written by Osama Ghazi. The film is a love story about two colleagues at a university who separate for many years, but reunite by chance and come to need each other,” she added.
According to the daily, Yusra confirmed that her first new album will be released after the school examinations next August -- Albawaba.com
