In honor of World Ocean Day, celebrated annually on 8th June, DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island is proud to announce that the property has successfully aided in preventing 60,000 plastic bottles weighing 684kgs from entering the ocean. The initiative is in partnership with Ocean Bottle that collects 11.4 kgs of plastic from the ocean or the removal of the equivalent of 1000 x 500 ml single use plastic bottles from the world’s oceans for every one of their bottles purchased.
