ALBAWABA - Norwegian football star Erling Haaland is the talk of social media again after Ecuadorian police seized hundreds of cocaine bricks featuring his name and face.
Haaland became a social media sensation for his hilarious character, authenticity, and excellent football skills. However, this time, his popularity was used in an unexpected shipment.
According to Al Jazeera, officers found 469 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a truck near the Colombian border, prompting the arrest of a woman who was driving it. The green bricks were all labeled with a World Cup-themed sticker of Haaland.

The cocaine bricks were cleverly hidden under the truck's cargo bed.
AP states that it is common practice among drug dealers to feature famous sports figures and other celebrities to disguise their illegal shipments as a form of differentiating clients.
Social media users flooded several platforms with comments upon viewing the circulating video by the Ecuadorian police:
"When you thought you’ve seen everything."
"ERLING??? Why is your face on a cocaine shipment in Ecuador???"
"If it’s anything like Haaland, that must arguably be the best coke in the world."
"Well...that was never on my lifetime bingo card..."
