Sell-out audiences enjoyed two nights of world-class modern opera from ‘Amici Forever’ brought to Dubai by Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC), the sole distributor of Infiniti vehicles in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
In line with the launch of the new luxury range of Infiniti, AAC brought the vocal quintet to Dubai in keeping with Infiniti’s equally progressive and vibrant image.
“Amici Forever’s unique blend of classical music and crossover pop enthralled Dubai theatergoers at the Madinat Hotel and demonstrated exactly why the vocal quintet has become an international sensation” AAC General Manager, Michel Ayat said: “Just like Amici Forever, the Infiniti lineup is redefining its class, has a sleek presence and has gained international acclaim for its vibrant style, so it was only fitting that Infiniti place its name behind this event which was a resounding success for Dubai audiences.”
INFINITI has chosen the Middle East as the first market outside North America to launch its latest luxury vehicle lineup and has been an award-winning leader in customer satisfaction, cutting-edge design and high performance. It has expanded its vehicle line-up constantly and became the fastest-growing luxury brand in the U.S. for the past two years.
Five new Infiniti models will be sold in the Middle East starting in the first half of 2005. These include the 2005 Q45 luxury sedan, QX56 full-size SUV that is considered as the largest Japanese SUV, G35 sports sedan, G35 sports coupe and the FX35 premium crossover SUV.
Comprising two sopranos, two tenors, and a bass-baritone, the group is drawn from England, New Zealand, and South Africa. All are classically trained singers and despite their youth have amassed a formidable honors list that would do credit to operatic veterans.
Amici Forever was invited by Queen Elizabeth to perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall for The Festival of Remembrance – televised live to more than six million viewers, and at the European Champions’ League final at Old Trafford in front of a television audience of 500 million.
They supported Dame Shirley Bassey on her 50th Anniversary stadium tour, sang live for Prince Harry at the Prince’s Polo in Berkshire, supported Cliff Richard on his ‘UK Castles Tour’ and joined the British Philharmonic Orchestra at Classical Fireworks Spectaculars at various venues around the UK.
