At its specialized report on the ease of doing business in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in 2005-2006, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) said that Saudi Arabia simplified the process for registering a new company.
According to this report, cited by Arabic newspapers, these changes decreased business start-up time by almost a month, specifically from 64 to just 39 days.
