The Cinema Art Association in Egypt held Friday its annual celebration to hand out the Audience Oscar Awards for the winning Ramadan TV productions in the year 2001, according to the daily Al Ahram.
Singer Magd Al Qasem opened the celebration with performing new songs and then the Oscar prizes were handed out. The prize for the best actor went to the actors: Yahya Al Fakhrani, Noor Al Sherif, Ahmed Maher, Ahmed Khalil, Yousef Shaaban, Nabil Al Helfawi, Riyad Al Khouli, Mustafa Shaaban, Ahmed Zaher and Ahmed Al Fishawi.
The prize for the best actress went to the actresses: Laila Olwi, Magedah Zaki, Elham Shahin, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Fadia Abdel Ghani, Ghada Abdel Razzaq, Sumayyah Al Khashab, Dunia Samir Ghanem and Hanan Mutawe’.
The prize for the best program presenter went to Tareq Allam, George Qerdahi, and Mustafa Yasin. The prize for the best program female presenter went to Hala Sarhan and Dina Ramez and finally the prize for the best production went to the Radio and TV Production Department for their programs aired during last Ramadan -- Albawaba.com
