Hundreds of Palestinians in Haifa went to the streets on Friday night to protest the latest Israeli massacre in Gaza, in which more than 60 peaceful protesters were killed by Israeli forces, including children. Ninteen demonstrators were also arrested, after brutally beating them.
The news was widely shared among Palestinians on social media who went on to condemn violent attacks against peaceful protesters.
Many people shared images and videos on social media, highlighting the brutality carried out against the protesters.
Among the arrested protesters was the head of Mossawa Center for Palestinian rights in Israel, Jafar Farah, even though he was attacked by police which left him with a broken knee.
Later on Sunday, another protest was organized by Palestinians in Haifa denouncing the arrest and calling for reconciliation.
